What stands out, both good and bad
The staff here are super friendly! Plus, the breakfast variety was a nice surprise with more options than expected.
The stairways were filthy with a shocking stench, and the dim lighting in the parking lot made me feel uneasy at night.

missingWrote a review on 05 Novmain floor roomsbreakfast varietyroom cleanliness
The main floor rooms provide easy walk-out access to the parking lot, convenient for loading and unloading luggage. The breakfast variety slightly was very good, though it could be hit or miss on supplies like milk and coffee creamer.
Check-in was like a crawl as multiple guests took over thirty minutes to get through due to issues with rooms and long lines. The smell of stale cigarettes in the hallways lingered throughout the stay, and the cleanliness was questionable. Findings like black mold in bathrooms and dirty laundry from previous guests. The bathrooms had low shower pressure and frayed towels, leaving much to be desired.

Location was good just off hwy 400. Sunshine breakfast was convenient with a good selection.
Front Desk staff only had 1 employee working at all times. Long waits to check in & out with people waiting in line, telephone ringing at all times. Also not the most welcoming staff, just plain no expression. Considering that there was a resservation mix up between the hotel & booking company they could have been more welcoming and given a discount for the extra night stayed or at least the same rate as I had reserved the first night.

The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, promptly cleaning our room and providing fresh towels daily.
The carpeting in the hallway definitely needs updating and gives the hotel an outdated feel.

I could get a decent room at a decent price when almost everyplace else was booked solid for the TIFF. The hotel was easy to find and to access from HWY 400 and Hwy 401. The bed was comfortable
There was mold on the bathtub grouting, There were no half-decent restaurants anywhere near There was no ATM at the hotel. The front desk was under-staffed.T
